The Classroom Experience
The nursery classroom is equipped to give children a safe and fun experience with lots of play, songs, and of course snack time.
In this age group, we understand that all children express separation from parents differently and that each child in our care requires attention, love, and protection.
If children need comforting, we will text the parent’s phone number printed on your child’s name tag.
During snack time, children are offered Cheerios and yogurt melts. If you provide a snack from home, they will be fed this instead. We recommend bringing your child’s own bottled water. If your child requires formula, you will need to mix it for them.
Please diaper your children before dropping them off in class.
We have a diaper-changing table you can use in the nursery classroom.
If your child requires diapering while in class, our leaders are prepared to change them into a clean diaper from your diaper bag.

When should I pick up my child from class?
Children must be picked up by a parent or guardian holding the security tag printed at check-out. Children must be checked out of class within 10 minutes of the service ending.
Move-Up Sunday
January 8th, 2023 | September 3rd, 2023
Children stay in the nursery until they are 3 years of age.
We move up two times a year for this class. When your child turns 3 they will transition into the preschool class on the next move-up Sunday.

The Volunteer Team
The leaders in Antioch’s Sunday school classes serve once a month.
WHY? Antioch has one Sunday service and in order to engage our children and volunteers in a healthy balance of serving and attending, we request all leaders attend a church service at least twice a month and serve once a month.
Youth leaders are ages 12-17. Youth leaders, serve once a month and are required to attend the Antioch Youth Life Groups or join their parents in church.
All parents and guardians are asked to serve one Sunday each quarter (or four times a year). If parents are serving in another area on Sundays they are exempt.
These incredible volunteers and parents work together to provide a safe classroom experience for your children.
